Which Vehicle Is Right for a Baby or Toddler?
The vehicle choice depends on how many adults are travelling, how much luggage you have, and whether you have a pushchair or travel cot.
Sedan: for one or two adults with one baby, minimal luggage
A standard sedan can accommodate one infant or toddler seat in the rear alongside one adult. If you are travelling as a couple with a single baby and standard carry-on luggage, this works. If you have a checked bag and a pushchair, the boot may be tight.

The sliding rear door is the decisive practical advantage: loading a baby into a rear-facing seat without bending double over a conventional car door, in an airport drop-off zone, after a long flight, is a genuinely different experience from doing the same through a sliding door at a comfortable height. Minivan XL: for larger family groups or significant equipment
For extended family trips, families travelling with both grandparents, or anyone bringing significant baby equipment (travel cot, two pushchairs, large check-in bags), the Minivan XL provides the space without splitting the group.
What to Specify When Booking

- Your child’s age: month-specific for babies under 12 months (a 3-month-old and a 9-month-old may require the same seat type but the weight difference is relevant)
